Driving Relevant Traffic and Improving User Experience

The primary objective was to drive more relevant traffic to the website. On-page elements were optimized, keyword research was conducted, and local SEO efforts were refined to improve search engine rankings for targeted service-related queries. These actions aimed to increase local leads and boost conversions. Additionally, the website was made accessible and easy to navigate, particularly on mobile devices, to encourage higher engagement and customer retention.

Website & GBP Audit

On-page SEO optimization was carried out by refining title tags, meta descriptions, and headings to target keywords related to solar services. Image alt texts and file names were improved to enhance keyword relevance, while the internal linking structure was optimized to better guide both users and search engines. Link Building & Schema Implementation

Outreach campaigns were conducted to secure backlinks from reputable solar energy blogs, local business websites, and industry associations. Emphasis was placed on acquiring high-quality backlinks to enhance domain authority and improve search engine rankings. Local business schema, service schema, and review schema were implemented to increase visibility in search engine results pages (SERPs). Competitors Analysis

Competitor analysis was conducted by examining competitors' websites to identify gaps in their SEO strategies. Keyword opportunities and content ideas were extracted based on the performance of these competitors.

Results

The website initially struggled with poor rankings within a 1km radius, appearing far down in search results—often on the second or third page, or even further. However, through the application of targeted SEO strategies, its rankings steadily improved over the course of a year. Eventually, the Google Map listing achieved the top (1st) position in the Google Map Pack for relevant local search queries, such as “solar incentives,” within that area.” This success highlights the power of consistent SEO efforts, particularly in local SEO, which is essential for helping businesses rank higher in local search results and attracting more local customers.
