The focus was on resolving technical errors, optimizing on-page elements, and implementing effective off-page strategies to achieve sustainable growth in traffic, impressions, and keyword rankings.
A comprehensive audit of the website revealed several technical issues, including 404 error pages, loop redirection problems, indexing challenges, meta content errors, duplicated product descriptions, and sitemap irregularities. Keyword research was conducted using the client’s provided keywords, which were not ranking in top positions, and additional relevant keywords were identified through competitor analysis to enhance visibility. To address the duplication issue in product descriptions, detailed suggestions for creating unique and optimized content were provided for all categories and product pages, ensuring improved performance and user engagement.
The website underwent several optimization efforts to improve functionality and performance. Over 200 pages with loop redirection issues were identified and resolved. Numerous 404 error pages, some auto-generated and unnecessary, were either deleted or redirected to relevant product pages. Also, approximately 400 product and category pages were not indexed, which were manually indexed using Google Search Console to enhance visibility. Google Business Profiles (GBP) were claimed and optimized to improve local SEO rankings, with citations built to enhance visibility in local search results. Strategies were developed to increase reviews on GBP, resulting in a noticeable improvement in the number of reviews received. Also, posts and offers were created on GBP, including promotional content aligned with relevant events, such as sales and special offers for the clothing category. These efforts collectively contributed to strengthening the online presence and engagement of the business.
A comprehensive audit was conducted to evaluate the existing backlinks, focusing on their toxicity and quality. Harmful links were identified and disavowed, and a strategy was formulated to build high-authority links. Also, competitor backlink profiles were analyzed to uncover high-quality backlink opportunities. As part of this analysis, a few relevant and high-traffic backlinks were also acquired from websites aligned with the niche.
